Busy Bee

I have been REALLY busy creating away lately.  I have crocheted a few hats and have been working on some wood projects as well.

This is an infant size ear flap hat that is pretty cute with that big over sized flower!

I found a hat similar to this on etsy that I thought was so cute so I had to try it out for myself.  I've also made a pink and black one with zebra print bows.  SO cute!  I should take a picture of it and post it too.

This was an owl hat I made for my friends baby by request.  I had only pinned the facial features on in this picture just for the effect so it looks a little wonky but it turned out great when it was finished and looks SO cute on her.

I found the idea for these cuties on pintrest but I had to do something a little different because I didn't like the  fact that they came apart and I wanted them to have a base, so this is what I came up with. What do ya think?

I like to do a little bargain hunting from time to time and I found this discarded Pampered Chef tool caddy that I had the perfect use for.  I ran it through the dishwasher and fancied it up with some scrapbook paper and her she is.  Holding a bunch of my sewing supplies.  Takes up WAY less room on my table, adds a little colors and a lot of organization!

And last but not least my Valentine door hanger.  I'm trying to put a craft group together for fun and to make a little money while my hubby is out of work.  I think this turned out pretty cute!
Hope you enjoy seeing what takes up lots of my time and keeps me sane!

The big reveal!! All I made for Christmas!!

So I'll start with the doll clothes that I made for Lacey.  She got an American Girl doll the day before Thanksgiving that she paid for all by herself.  So she wanted doll everything for Christmas!
Here is a fancy dress with shrug

and doesn't every doll need a zebra skin coat?

and pj pants that match the ones she got for Christmas.

I was called by a family friend about making some doll beds like the ones we did for the girls last year. I was instructed white beds, and green fabric for one and purple for the other.

Here is the green one, I LOVE the green that I found.

Complete with pillows and fitted sheet of course!

And here is the best purple I could find.  There is just not a lot of purple that is cute fabric out there but this I thought would do the trick.

After those were complete it was time to get started on the wood portion of my crafting. This project was made for my mother.  I have this thing about making grandmother gifts for her.  SO this is what she got this year.

Needless to say I made her cry, again!!

I made a sign similar to this one, I didn't get a photo of the finished product but this gives you the idea.  This was the perfect gift for my brother and his girlfriend because he is TERRIBLE with birthdays so now he has no excuse!

This is similar to what I made for my dad for Christmas.  I didn't get a picture of his either but it's just like this only different lettering.

And last but not least I made these PJ pants for the girls this year.  They had to get a picture with their cups because they were SO excited Santa brought them all one.   So other that the bags I made for the nieces and nephews which I forgot to take pictures of too but as soon as I get them I'll make sure to post them!

What did you make for someone this Christmas?
