4th of July 09

I found this digi paper and just had to scrap this photo from last years 4th of July.  Can you see how happy Lacey was about me taking this picture in the heat and sun.  Kinda wish we had a little of that now!  Still need to figure out how to journal on these dang things but I'll figure it out!

Another page!!

This is pretty fun but I swear it takes longer to do it digitally then it does with the real stuff.  All the resizing and finding the papers and stuff.  I have had fun doing this while sitting in front of the TV with my husband thou!  I'm sure I'll will do them to put on the computer but  I sure do love having them all in beautiful books hand made by me!

My first digital scrapbook page!!

My very 1st digital scrapbook page!  This is something I have been wanting to try for quit some time now but because my computer was a dinasaur I couldn't do it.  Well now that I have upgraded I can do it!  I thought I would do these picts that were already in my computer that I don't think I've scraped yet.  I think their pretty cute considering their my first and there is still SO much I need to learn about photoshop but at least I've started!!

MVP Page

So it's probably not a surprise to anyone that I am in a scrapbooking club and this is the page I made today. My friend Tonia designed it and I had just the right pictures to put on it. Maddies soccer pictures from '09. I love this paper and I love the way this page turned out!

Here is just a posting of the things I worked on while I had no computer

So my cousin had a little baby boy and I just have to a make things for the little guy.  As you know I don't have any boys so I had to look at an excuse to sew some cute little boy things.  I found a pattern for these booties on line and when I find the website I will post it. 

These are flannel and I just loved the little frog on them!

He had to have this little pair for race day!

And since he'll be the 2nd biggest Ute fan he had to have these!

then I found this cute pattern for cloth blocks and I thought it would be fun for him to have all different textures so I made him these.

I have a friend who has a vinyl business who has started doing make and take nights.  This is one of the fun things she came up with.  One side says summer and the other says spring

This is a set of 3 canvas' that she put together and they originally said, "live, laugh, love" but I had her change it to daughter of god for me so I could hang it in Maddie and Kodies room.  So there ya go, now you know what I've been up to!

Church coats and doll clothes

I have been working on church coats for each of the girls because I think they look SO cute and special when they are wearing them.  I found this really easy pattern and bought the matierial.  Here is what I have com up with.  I still need to get Maddies done but I've had SO much going on lately I haven't gotten to it just yet!  Soon, I promis soon!

Here is Bailey's and the picture is terrible the coat is bright purple so I guess I need to get a different picture! But it's the same as Lacey's just bright purple

Now for the doll clothes

This is the blessing dress that Lacey has been wanting me to make "forever".  It is finished now it just needs it's matching bonnet, soon to come!

Here are the overalls I made for Kodies doll.  I cut the pattern out about 6 mos ago and evidently found something more important to sew.  They are finally finished!

Baby gifts I've been making

So TONS of the ladies in my ward are having babies and we will be getting a new little 2nd cousin in May so I have been busy coming up with some baby gifts. Here are some little booties that I made from this website Here is my favorite!! I made this adorable diaper changing clutch. This is what it looks like closed up. Isn't it SO cute!?

Here it is all opened up, it has a covered wipe case that matches and you can put about 3 diapers in it too so all you have to do it throw this in your purse and your ready to go, no lugging around a big diaper bag! They've been a real hit!
